Jaramillo’s role as Miguel Zepeda, Harlee’s (Jennifer Lopez) estranged lover, was a fan favorite-and his performance in the Season Finale, surprised and shocked everyone, creating a Twitter frenzy.

Jaramillo was born on August 24, 1974 in Tijuana, Mexico to humble beginnings. He spent most of his childhood in an orphanage. In his early teens he moved to San Diego to stay with relatives. He attended middle school and high school and attempted college but admits he was never a good student. Instead, he started working at various jobs without any direction of what he wanted to do with his life.

In his mid-20’s, Jaramillo came across the writings of Anton Chekhov and later Arthur Miller and Tennessee Williams and fell in love with their work. The instant he was introduced to theater, his life shifted and he discovered a passion that would become his life calling. He immediately dove into the deep ocean of theatrical stage work and emerged a professional actor that today has Hollywood buzzing with comparisons to a younger, sexier, Benicio Del Toro.
