Universal City, CA, October 26, 2016 – It was a killer night for AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Season 7 premiere, and in the week leading up to the suspenseful opener, “Talking Dead’s” Chris Hardwick braved Universal Studios Hollywood’s new “The Walking Dead” attraction and featured “Halloween Horror Nights” maze … and survived.
In a video tour of the new attraction, Chris Hardwick raved, “That was amazing; if you have a chance, you should absolutely come through. It doesn’t matter how emotionally prepared you are, [the walkers] are going to jump out and scare the {expletive} out of you every single time.”
For a quick and sound survival tip, he offered this, “I should have smeared walker blood on my body.”
“The Walking Dead” is Universal Studios Hollywood’s all-new daytime permanent attraction and signature maze at this year’s “Halloween Horror Nights” event. By elevating the scares with more walkers and effects than ever for the nighttime event, “The Walking Dead” attraction creates a no-holds-barred experience that significantly intensifies any other iteration previously developed within the theme park. Coupled with authentic walker make-up effects, sophisticated animatronic walkers, substantially more detailed set design and costuming, and highly recognizable props replicated from the series, the attraction delivers an uncompromised realistic environment that brings guests even further into the most-watched show in cable television history.
“Halloween Horror Nights” will continue on the following dates: October 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 and November 4 and 5, 2016. Discounted tickets to “Halloween Horror Nights” are available on Thursday and Sunday nights, and advance ticket purchase is recommended as the event does sell out.
Tickets are available for purchase at www.HalloweenHorrorNights.com/Hollywood, including the Frequent Fear Pass which allows guests to visit multiple times throughout the event. Guests purchasing the all-new After 2 p.m. Day/Night Combo ticket can enjoy the park’s popular daytime attractions such as “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™,” “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and “Fast and Furious—Supercharged” on the world-famous Studio Tour by day, then step into the mazes and attractions located throughout the park to experience the terror of “Halloween Horror Nights” for one admission price.
“Halloween Horror Nights” guests can also purchase the popular Front of Line ticket, enabling them to enjoy one-time priority access to all mazes, attractions, all-new Terror Tram, and Jabbawockeez performance.
